Vintage Oxfords

Hi everyone! Here is my first outfit with my New Oxfords shoes like I promised. I used them Dec. 30th for my dad’s birthday party where we celebrated his 60th B-day, big day and a really fun party!
About my outfit, I paired my oxfords with black footless leggings and my green Forever21 dress (seen here) . For my makeup, I went really simple because the outfit made a pretty chic statement, I was also wearing turquoise nail polished but i did’t get to catch a picture of that. Mossino Kathan Heeled Oxfords

Hi everyone! Hope you guys are doing awesome and are ready for a great year ahead! I couldn’t be happier that 2011 is over and I’m so ready for 2012 that I’m even blogging the first day of the year

I wanted to show you my new shoes, they are some Oxfords with heels, something that I never thought that I would like; but surprisingly I love. They look very chic and fashionable! I can’t wait to pair some outfits with them, I already have one and will be showing you soon.

Hi everyone! 2011 is almost gone and I didn’t want it to be over before I actually gave you a makeup tutorial in English!!! Yippy! I think I am so happy about this post because it was one of my goals for 2011, so it’s checked off of my list now! Did you complete all of your 2011 goals?

How to look Fabulous with some simple Beauty Tricks!

BeforeNo Makeup and After Natural Makeup

I’m not perfect!!! Look at my before photo: I have under eye circles, blemishes, my skin is not all the same shade, my eyebrows and eyes are different sizes, and on and on. Then look at the after, natural, fresh and simply Beautiful. This was easily done with few products and a couple of simple beauty tricks, if you want to know more:  Keep Reading…

1st and 2nd Step

* Moisture: Moisturized face all over, if your going out during the day, use sunscreen to protect your skin.
* Foundation: Use a foundation that match your skin to perfection, notice how this one blends perfect with my neck? No visible lines to worry about, be aware and never try to match you foundation on your hand, it does not work!  Use the foundation all over, I used  a small dual fiber makeup brush; like this one: Small Duo Brush 
Apply a concealer that match your skin as well, a product that is too light or dark will look out of place. 

* Humecta: Utiliza humectante en todo el rostro, y si es durante el día no olvides usar protección solar
* Base: Usa una base que te valla con tu tono de piel a la perfección. Que no se noten líneas entre el cuello y tu rostro, notas como la que utilice no se nota la diferencia?  Por eso nunca trates de probarte las bases en la mano, ese método no funciona! Utiliza la base en todo el rostro, yo lo hice con una brocha de maquilladle de doble fibra pequeña como esta: Brocha pequeña de Doble Fibra.
Aplica un corrector que valla con tu tono de piel tambien, si es muy claro o muy oscuro se va a ver fuera de lugar.

3rd and 4step

*Eyebrows: Fill up your eyebrows with a pencil, a brown matte shadow or a brow kit. Follow your natural shape, filling in darker wherever you have bald spots. In my case I try to even out my brows, I used a angle brush and  Smashbox Brow Tech Trio


* Highlight and Contour: Use a light color shadow to highlight: *Inner corner of your eyes * Under the brow * Bridge of the nose * Top of your lips’ cupid bow and * Upper cheekbone
Then use a matte bronzer and contour this areas: * side of your nose * crease of your eye and  * underneath your cheek bone

* Details: Add your favorite mascara on the top and bottom lashes, then add your favorite blush on your check bones, and for the lips use a lipstick or lip-gloss that is close to your natural lip color or a color that goes well with your skin tone.


Finish up with the best beauty tool of all: A SMILE! 

Hi everyone! here is a video that I recorded back in October but never had time to upload. It’s a speedtorial, and it goes from how I did the hair, to the makeup, to how I made it more Halloweenny. The concept was really spontaneous since what I wanted to go for, was a “simple geisha” , but ended up with this mix of Geisha and Kabuki style makeup. Hope you enjoy!

Hi everyone! Today I bring you a very easy going outfit. I wore this to hang out with my sister Zulay (Visit her Blog: EllaGata) and some family members that came from Venezuela. The cool thing about it the combination of prints; which I don’t usually do until my sis’ Zulay suggested this combo. We were trying to pair it with a black and white skirt I have but it did not work, so I decided to pair it with my ripped skinny jeans, some comfy flat sandals and silver accessories.
